The app launched, but I cannot see it

Move the pointer to the top center of the current display. You can also choose “Show UsageGlow” from the chart icon in the menu bar.

My percentage is not syncing

For Claude, enable UsageGlow in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, then open Claude Settings → Usage and choose Refresh now. For Codex, confirm Codex or ChatGPT desktop or CLI is signed in.

Does the provider app need to stay open?

Codex can remain closed. The App Store build reads Claude’s visible Usage screen, so Claude must be open to refresh that meter; the last verified value stays cached when it is closed.

How do I quit?

Choose “Quit UsageGlow” from its menu-bar icon.
