The App Store edition installs Claude Code’s documented status-line bridge after you explicitly choose its settings file. Claude Code may ask you to trust that local status line once. Each response then supplies only the live rate limits and resets that power UsageGlow’s SYNCED and LAST SYNC states.
ChatGPTAPP STORE + DIRECT
Choose Codex’s auth.json once through Apple’s read-only file picker. UsageGlow uses that existing ChatGPT sign-in only in memory to request the shared agentic-usage summary—then keeps just the percentage and reset.
CursorAPP STORE + DIRECT
Choose Cursor’s state.vscdb once through Apple’s read-only file picker. UsageGlow reads only the existing sign-in token needed to request total included usage and the billing-cycle reset—never projects, prompts, responses, or code.

Compatibility, without the asterisk
Subscriptions glow.
API spend doesn’t.
UsageGlow monitors the account limits people can actually run out of. It is not an API billing dashboard, never asks for an API key, and never turns token spend into a pretend percentage.

Platform organization spend, prepaid API balance, token totals, or API-key-only workflows.
Cursor on-demand spend
Usage beyond included plan limits, dollar spend, invoices, credits, or billing balances.
Also not supported at launch: Gemini, Claude.ai in a browser without the Claude Code status-line bridge, or multiple simultaneous accounts for one provider. UsageGlow follows one selected account for each supported provider.
